Franciacorta Play Village was conceived as part of the expansion of Franciacorta Village, within the Land of Fashion Villages network, with the objective of enriching the visitor experience through a new and highly recognizable leisure destination. The play area complements the architectural landmarks of the Village, including the covered gallery, baptistery and tower, adding a dedicated space for children and families.

Inspired in part by the interactive character of the Brazil Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015, the project was designed not simply as a conventional playground but as an attraction to explore, climb and observe. The main feature is the Corocord Wave climbing structure, integrated into a green hill and complemented by two elevated elastic nets.

Additional elements include a basket swing and an educational “talk with the tube” installation suitable for younger children and users with mobility difficulties. The project emphasizes the value of physical play while integrating landscape, movement and social interaction. The result is a distinctive family-oriented space that strengthens Franciacorta Village as a broader leisure and retail destination rather than a place devoted exclusively to shopping.
