Located within the Parco del Ticino in Gallarate, near Milan, I Fontanili is conceived as a distinctive food and beverage destination that brings together dining, landscape, culture and entertainment within a single coordinated experience. Rather than functioning as a conventional restaurant, pizzeria, grill or ice-cream shop, the project is designed as a place where different activities and audiences can coexist.
The concept responds to a contemporary lifestyle in which hospitality is increasingly defined by experience as much as by food. Architecture and landscape provide the setting for a programme intended to involve chefs, sommeliers, artists and the public, creating opportunities for events, encounters and changing forms of use.
Nature plays a central role in the identity of I Fontanili. The project establishes a continuous dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing the destination to evolve through different moments, seasons and activities. The result is a multi-sensory hospitality environment where food, culture and landscape become part of the same narrative, offering visitors a broader experience centred on quality, emotion and connection with the surrounding natural context of the Ticino Park.
