The Carlton is a new luxury hotel by Rocco Forte Hotels located in the heart of Milan’s Quadrilatero della Moda, with access from both Via Senato and Via della Spiga. The major renovation transformed the historic property into an elegant hospitality destination combining contemporary Milanese character with the intimacy and sophistication of a private residence.

The hotel offers 71 rooms and suites together with a complete hospitality programme including restaurants, bar, wellness facilities and the Irene Forte Spa. The interior design, developed under the creative direction of Olga Polizzi in collaboration with Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen, combines refined European elegance with rich materials, colour and subtle Art Deco references, creating a distinctive identity strongly connected to Milan.

SOLIDS supported the development as Project and Construction Manager, coordinating the different disciplines and project stakeholders throughout the realization process. Within a highly complex hospitality project, our role focused on managing coordination, programme, information flow and implementation, helping translate the design vision into a completed five-star hotel. The Carlton represents an important new destination for Rocco Forte Hotels in Milan and a significant addition to the city’s international luxury hospitality landscape.
