Puglia Village, in Molfetta and part of the Land of Fashion Villages network, is the focus of a new architectural concept for Phase 2 aimed at strengthening the identity, commercial appeal and overall visitor experience of this part of the destination. SOLIDS developed the proposal as an integrated strategy combining architecture, landscape design and retail planning.
The project strengthens the Scirocco entrance and the routes leading towards Phase 2 through new landscape elements and a clearer architectural presence, while the existing buildings are simplified and updated through selected façade interventions, ceramic cladding and new material details. The design introduces a contemporary interpretation of Mediterranean and Apulian identity, expressed through light tones, vegetation, pergolas, arches and decorative surfaces.
At the heart of the project, the central area becomes a landscaped garden with shaded lounge spaces, integrated seating and areas for social interaction. The lounge concept was developed in collaboration with AYIMSTUDIO in Florence.
The strategy also identifies potential future interventions within Phase 1, extending the new architectural and landscape language across the Village and supporting a more coherent and recognizable overall identity.
