SOLIDS has contributed to the delivery of The Carlton Milano, Rocco Forte Hotels’ new destination in the heart of Milan’s Quadrilatero della Moda, as Project & Construction Manager.
The extensive renovation transforms a historic property between Via Senato and Via della Spiga into a hotel with 71 rooms and suites, restaurants, a bar and the Irene Forte Spa. Interiors developed under Olga Polizzi’s creative direction, in collaboration with Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen, bring together rich materials, colour and subtle Art Deco references, combining Milanese character with the intimacy of a private residence.
Working across disciplines and alongside the project’s stakeholders, SOLIDS coordinated programme, information flow and construction activities to support the translation of an ambitious design vision into a completed five-star hotel. The project demonstrates the importance of clear coordination in delivering complex hospitality environments, where architectural intent and the quality of execution must work together.
